Before the sweetness disappears forever
Without saying a proper goodbye to you
Or leaving a trace of whatsoever
The road where two souls meet
Entangled under the dim streetlight
Frozen limbs and hastening heartbeat
Leading the way into the bright moonlight
Laymen treat our sacred encounters as a numbers game
Not realising it is more than a simple sum
Parallel paths never cross, mathematicians claim
But they know nothing about what we can overcome
There may be no more slices left to savour now
Yet I still believe that someday somewhere somehow
ps. So writing something every day has become my routine...
